There is a need to provide access to 'new' manufacturing technologies for organisations who for various reasons can not justify the cost of purchase.

Advanced Manufacturing Services (AMS) was specifically formed to provide designers, toolmakers, inventors and manufacturers with the opportunity to access modern technology at an affordable price.

Laser Sintering is the first of many technologies planned to be introduced in the future.

Our primary objectives are: 

•    Increasing the acceptance of laser sintering as a manufacturing method for end products as well as the creation of moulds, tools and dies.  

•    Offering a faster method of getting from a new idea to commercialisation. "Speed wins, slowness loses."

•    Reduce labour and development costs by paying for this technology only when needed.

•    Achieve short lead times by introducing a technology that enables "Lights Out Manufacturing" coupled with "e-manufacturing".

•    Provide a cost effective option for low volume and rapid manufacture of complicated and small components.

•    Provide a method to access the technology for product development as well as the low value manufacture of working parts in metal or plastic.

•    Provide training to use this technology both in production and management.
