3D Printing (SLS Plastics)
AMS uses German-built industrial 3D printing equipment from EOS GmbH for the production of plastic parts and prototype components. These are selective laser sintering (SLS) machines that offer fast, flexible and cost efficient part production directly from electronic data. Without requiring tools, these machines make direct use of digital CAD data to produce polymer parts of the highest quality, processing PA 2200 polymer powder into finished parts on an industrial scale.
Our equipment covers the medium build range for producing working prototypes, serial components and spare parts suited to industrial production standards. These modular and highly productive machines allow for the tool-free manufacture of very complex custom pieces or small series parts quickly with excellent detail resolution and part quality.
3D Printing (DMLS Metals)
AMS uses German-built industrial 3D printing equipment from EOS GmbH for the economic production of high-quality metal prototypes, end products and series products. These are direct metal laser sintering (DSLS) machines that offer fast, flexible and cost efficient part production directly from electronic data. DMLS technology is automatic, generative and application oriented, and requires no tooling.
Our equipment covers the medium build range for processing various metal powders into working models, series production and spare parts to industrial standard, with the option of integrated conformal cooling channels. The high level of productivity and ergonomic periphery make the systems ideal for the economical and batch-size optimised manufacture of components using light alloys through to high-grade steels, tool steels and superalloys.
Advanced CNC Machining
AMS uses advanced German-built turn and mill machines from DMG and HERMLE. Our DMG machine offers 5-axis machining of complex parts and specialty micro components of the highest performance and rigidity. Our HERMLE machine offers 3-axis machining that meets industry demands for high precision and small tolerances.
Both machines are well suited to the production of complex part components for medical and dental, precision instruments, aerospace and automotive, and tool and mold making applications. These machines produce the most demanding workpieces with the highest accuracy and absolute efficiency.
